This spring, I worked with Nathan Leonard to develop a complete branding package for Crawfest, the largest event on Tulane's campus and the students' favorite annual tradition. The event hosts multiple bands, food trucks, and vendors, and over the course of ten hours distributes over 20,000 pounds of crawfish to 12,000 festival attendees.
Our strategy began with some beautiful, hand drawn icon that Nathan created. These drawings served as the backbone for our scheme, allowing us to develop a versatile yet cohesive strategy. The colors of the event are typically blue and red, but we chose more vibrant tones to channel the incoming summer heat and the spirit of New Orleans.
The branding package included lineup posters, buttons, lineup cards and maps, banners for the stages, t shirts for staff and festival goers, as well as swag that was handed out for free during the event.
