Winter Cocktails For When You Are Still Feeling Festive AF

Winter Cocktails For When You Are Still Feeling Festive AF

Because no one said the pizazz had to simmer down after New Years! I’ve been rocking my glitter mules from Madewell every week and will continue to do so until its time to ring in 2020 and the soles have been worn through entirely.

In New Orleans, the end of a new year means the beginning of Mardi Gras (give or take a few days), and as soon as the sparkle was swept up from the floor on NYE, our hands were busy decorating shoes with glitter and sparkle for the Muses Parade, downing King Cake as though it were a vitamin, and finding every reason to be festive and dance. I think my Pinterest feed has sensed that I’ve been missing NOLA recently, and has been serving up some ~glam~ cocktail recipes that inspire me to celebrate and honor some of what the great city is best cherished for.

I don’t know what your weekend plans are looking like, but I’m thinking about making a batch of these Blood Orange Champagne Cocktails or Campfire Cocktails, blasting Tony Bennett, and inviting a few friends over while DC survives its first snowstorm. Which cocktail catches your eye?
